1951

From a small shop in the San Jorge neighbourhood in Pamplona to becoming a leader in fasteners, Industrias Lotu was born in 1951 making large bolts for strategic sectors like rail and high-voltage lines. Since then, every turn has meant learning, innovation and continuous improvement. We moved to our current facilities in 1986, and that same year we became the first Spanish fastener manufacturing company to obtain ISO 9000 certification. Today, we keep designing and manufacturing fastening solutions for highly-technically-demanding industries, moving towards our goal of being a European leader in fasteners with resolve.

Founding of Industrias LOTU in the San Jorge neighbourhood of Pamplona by Juan Berasategui Tellería

1955

Moved to Villava, Navarre to handle growth

1964

Opened a new industrial facility in the San Juan neighbourhood in Pamplona

1972

New 2000 m² plant in the Landaben industrial park

1986

Moved to the current location in the Landaben industrial park on an 11,000 m² site

1996

In May 1996, LOTU became the first ISO 9000 certified fastener manufacturing company in Spain
